Christian of Mount Sterling.
FCC is proud of its roots: both in the Christian Church (Disciples
of Christ) and in Montgomery County. We are a congregation 207
years old, with a rich history of involvement with the denomination
and the work of the Kingdom on an ecumenical level. We are a downtown
church - and have no intention of moving elsewhere! We are fortunate
to have a facility large enough to handle our needs now, with
expansion possibilities close by for the future. We are actively
engaged in many forms of mission work.
But enough about us. What are you looking for in a church home?
Are you looking for a strong music program? Would you like to
know more about the Bible, and how we as Christians are to live
in this 21st century world? Do you seek a place for worship that
combines the roots of traditional worship with the branches of
growing theology and thought? Is it your hope to provide a place
for your children to learn about God, to discover what it looks
like to be a follower of Christ, to have fun and grow healthy
relationships with other young people?
